The start of a metamorphosis, making two beautiful new rings from old jewelry with the existing gemstones.

I start by heating the old gold until it melts.

Now it is well melted and liquid enough to pour into the cast iron.

A nice roll of gold, now I can roll the gold into a strip to make rings.

The base of the two new rings are ready, now there is another setting on 1 of the rings and then the gemstones can be placed in the rings.
